Toddler Programs
The Toddler Programs, which encourage cooperation and language development,
are for children from 18 months to 2.9 years old.
Play is encouraged to help develop social interaction among children. Development areas such as fine motor and gross motor skills are also enhanced by daily participation in music, art, stories, dramatic play, blocks, and group projects
Reading aloud and singing everyday enhances the toddler's language. The teachers promote self-help skills by modeling appropriate behavior.
Curriculum Goals
- To develop a sense of trust to adults other than their own parents.

Our Teachers
Seaside Nursery School's teachers serve as resources and facilitators, providing support and information to both children and parents.
Our toddler caregivers have a combined total
of 35 years experience. Annually our
personnel go through at least 20 hours of
training including First Aid and CPR. With this
experience and education behind them,
caregivers have the knowledge to plan daily
activities that are age appropriate and fun.
We expose our toddlers to all areas in the
hope that they will reach out and explore on
their own. Children thrive when their teachers
are deeply interested and committed to each
of them.
We work closely with our parents. We believe parents are our partners.
