The Toddler Classroom at Seaside Nursery School consists of nine children ages 18 months – 2.9 years and 2 teachers. For most toddlers, this is their first experience out of the home and into a group setting. Therefore, our priority is to nurture each child’s emotional and social well-being.
Our teachers create curriculum and environments that support, foster, and challenge children as they grow. Each day is structured to provide the toddlers opportunities to discover and explore the classroom according to their own interests and developmental level.
Play is the most significant part of each day as it develops social interaction. Fine and gross motor skills are introduced through various activities both individually and in groups.
